My path into tattooing started long before I ever picked up a tattoo machine. For over a decade, I’ve been drawing tattoo art and immersing myself in the world, history, and culture surrounding it. That time gave me a deep appreciation for the craft and shaped the way I approach tattooing today -not simply as artwork on skin, but as an art form with a rich history worth understanding, respecting, and building upon.

That foundation eventually led me into an apprenticeship, where I began learning the craft firsthand under a tattooer who shared that same appreciation for traditional tattooing. As my education progressed, I continued my apprenticeship through mentorship rooted in a family lineage connected to the foundations of New York traditional tattooing. Learning through different perspectives while remaining connected to the traditions of the craft helped shape both the artist I am today and the direction I want to take my work.

My work is rooted in the history and principles of traditional tattooing, reimagined through a modern and personal approach. I start with the boldness and readability that make traditional designs timeless, then introduce more dimension, detail, and movement to give the work its own character. I’m interested in finding the balance between simplicity and complexity, adding nuance where it matters without losing clarity.

That education continues to influence the way I approach every tattoo—not only how I draw, but how a design fits and flows with the body, how it will age, and how I can translate an idea into something that feels personal to the person wearing it.

My goal is to take what makes traditional tattooing timeless, bring my own perspective to it, and create something that feels uniquely yours and built to last.
